Objectives: Developing the standards for access to mass archaeological data over the Internet, spreading new information technologies in archaeology and particularly in archaeological heritage management, and increasing academic and public interest in the subject

Results: (a) protecting and spreading access to digital archives, (b) creating the ARENA portal as a testing ground for innovative activities and sources of inspiration, (c) exchange of experience and professional development of archaeologists, (d) promoting selected elements of archaeological heritage, (e) pioneering application of new information technologies addressed to project partners and professional archaeologists and, more broadly, to the general public interested in archaeology
