Objectives: similar to earlier editions; (a) highlighting the role of archaeology in the formation and reinforcing regional, national and trans-national identities, (b) increasing the public awareness of the relevance of the heritage preserved in the archives and museums of the wholeEurope

Results: (a) constructing the information infrastructure of the project, (b) database of archives and their contents in Europe, (c) Archaeobiograms database with biograms of the makers of European archaeology from its antiquarian beginnings to the present, (d) international mobile exhibition Lineage of European archaeology (versions in six languages) so far shown in eighteen cities of eleven European countries
