Project duration: work on the Theme Park started in 2009. The object opened to the public on June 29, 2012
Project funding: the project funded by the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region under the Regional Operating Programme for Wielkopolska for the years 2009-2013 (Activity 6.2 – Development of culture and preservation of cultural heritage) at the sum of PLN 6 500 000. The remaining funds, ca. PLN 3 200 000, come from the means allocated by the Municipal Council of the City of Poznań
Objectives: exposition of the unique remains of the early Piast stronghold from the 10th century in a modern building equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia
Results: a construction covering the area of 631 m2. Along with the mediaeval fortifications, the wall constructed in the times of Bishop Lubrański is displayed. On the terraces from which the fortifications can be viewed are touch screen kiosks and a holographic image. The Theme Park is equipped with a projection room showing a 3D film
